A steamy advertisement featuring American actress Sydney Sweeney for the sports prediction company Novig has gone viral, sparking a fierce backlash from female Olympians and athletes across the board, who criticize the ad for objectifying women and demeaning female athletes.

According to The Guardian, the ad shows Sweeney nearly nude while showcasing various pieces of sports equipment; she holds a football to cover her ample bosom, sits naked atop a basketball hoop, and lies semi-nude on a pool table, all while seductively whispering: “Think you know sports? Then prove it to me. Novig is all about sports.”
